I talked about it recently, but I didn’t show it. Here’s Clare’s Beigeland bedroom:
It really is almost identical to her old room, décor-wise.
I love this little armoire. (Thanks again, Mom!) Michael put it together, but changed out the white pulls for pink ones.
I copied the alphabet/flower card idea exactly, but it just doesn’t pop on the colorless walls. I really need to find the right green and splash some of it around.
This is the view from Clare’s crib (Xander’s old crib, complete with his babyhood bite marks up and down its rails), toward our master bedroom doors.
Here’s one other small touch I added, though I can’t really take credit for it. When Clare was born, our friend Tasha wrapped her baby gifts in crisp brown craft paper, then dotted them with these charming paper circles; decorative layers of orange, yellow, and hot pink. I loved them so much, I had to use them.
Let’s consider these the “before” shots, and hope inspiration strikes soon. We’ve been in this house for 18 months and it hasn’t hit yet, but that doesn’t mean it won’t.
